2022: Such a Busy Election Year

2022 is a spicy election year! With the primary elections over, we're now gearing up for the November 8 final election.

Our Texas government is up for election -- governor, lieutenant governor, comptroller, attorney general, agriculture commissioner and land commissioner.

Also up for election are U.S. Congress members, state representatives, Travis County officials, some judges. And the Austin mayor and some City Council members will be on the November ballot. We are in City Council District 8, which is up for election next fall. Also on the ballot will be Austin ISD Board of Trustees members.

Some of our representatives in Southwest Austin have not had opponents. Those are Sen. Sarah Eckhardt and State Rep. Donna Howard. State Rep. Vikki Goodwin did not have a Democratic primary opponent, but does have a Republican opponent.
